Das obige Zitat von Galileo Galilei spiegelt in groben Zügen jenes Grundverständnis des Systemischen Coachings wieder, welches den Kern der vorliegenden Hausarbeit darstellt. Im Gegensatz zur traditionellen Form der Beratung, spricht man beim systemischen Ansatz von der „sanften“ Methode, die versucht, die inneren Strukturen des Klienten zu berücksichtigen und ihm Mittel und Wege zur Selbsthilfe aufzuzeigen.
Coaching ist zurzeit in aller Munde und hat sich innerhalb des letzten Jahrzehnts immer mehr zu einem Modewort entwickelt. Der negative Nebeneffekt einer solchen Entwicklung ließ nicht lange auf sich warten; es entstand eine Vielfalt an Interpretationen von Coaching, die jedenfalls für einen potentiellen Nachfrager einer solchen Dienstleistung verwirrend wirkt.
Bei Recherchen auf den Homepages einiger Coaching-Anbieter sowie in Fachzeitschriften zum Thema „Coaching“ stellte sich heraus, dass unter dem Begriff "Systemisches Coaching" vielerlei verkauft bzw. verstanden wird.
Die VR Bank hat sich ebenfalls für Coaching entschieden und sich im Vorfeld die Frage gestellt, welcher Anbieter für das Coaching der richtige wäre. Somit wurde auch diskutiert, ob ein Coaching durch externe Coachs oder intern durch Führungskräfte durchgeführt werden soll.
Ziel dieser Hausarbeit soll es sein, die möglichen Spannungsfelder zwischen der Rolle der Führungskraft als Coach in der VR Bank eG, Alsfeld zu behandeln und mögliche Lösungswege für die Praxis zu finden bzw. diese zur Diskussion zu stellen. Aufgrund des Umfanges des genannten Themenfeldes und der Begrenzung der Seitenzahlen wird auf die weiteren Punkte der Prüfungsordnung nur begrenzt in dieser Hausarbeit eingegangen.
