Als ich mich dazu entschlossen habe eine fachspezifische Themenstellung im Fach „ Bild – Objekt – Material – Gestaltung“ zu schreiben, um mich so fast ein ganzes Schuljahr intensiv mit einem spezifischen Thema auseinanderzusetzen, entschied ich mich für den Surrealismus.
Ich habe mich einerseits für dieses Thema entschieden weil mich diese, in gewisser Art und Weise, absurden Bilder immer schon fasziniert haben. Sie beeindruckten mich durch ihre etwas andere Kunstrichtung die ich vorher noch nicht wahrgenommen hatte. Surrealistische Kunstwerke versteht man meist erst auf den 2. oder 3. Blick. Oft muss ich mir ein Bild einige Male ansehen um zu verstehen was der Künstler damit ausdrücken will.
Andererseits habe ich mich für dieses Thema entschieden weil ich mehr in die Welt des Traums und der Phantasie eintauchen wollte. Die Gesellschaft gibt uns mittlerweile einen großen Teil unserer Lebensweisen und Werte vor. Durch Mitmenschen, Medien und vor allem durch Werbung werden wir mit Informationen überflutet. Die Phantasie wird in uns Menschen immer weniger. Je älter wir werden desto „unwichtiger“ erscheint sie. Deswegen ist es sehr wichtig diese große Welt der Phantasie zu bewahren. In Kindern ist dieses Potenzial noch nicht erschöpft. Sie haben noch viel Phantasie und Schaffenslust, darum finde ich es umso wichtiger dieses Talent zu fördern. Ich möchte den Surrealismus so gut es mir gelingt im Kindergarten thematisieren, denn Kreativität und Phantasie spielen eine große Rolle für das spätere schulische Lernen und für eine innovative Umweltbewältigung. Phantasie und Kreativität verbinden die Innen- und Außenwelt und stärken auch das Selbstbewusstsein der Kinder.

So habe auch ich mich sofort darum bemüht meine eigene Einstellung zu ändern und meine Träume und Gedanken bewusster wahrzunehmen. Seit ich mich mit dem Surrealismus auseinander gesetzt habe, habe ich begonnen meine Träume (soweit ich mich am nächsten Tag noch daran erinnern konnte) und Gedanken aufzuschreiben. Viele Ideen habe ich erst beim Schreiben bekommen und so ist mir auch klar geworden wie wertvoll es ist, mehr auf sich selbst zuhören und nicht zu versuchen den gesellschaftlichen Zwängen gerecht zu werden.
