Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich BWL - Bank, Börse, Versicherung, Note: 1,7, Helmut-Schmidt-Universität - Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg, 84 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der neoklassischen Kapitalmarkttheorie wird von vollkommenen Märkten ausgegangen und das Verhalten der Akteure wird als rational definiert, was auch als Konzept des „Homo Oeconomicus“ bekannt ist. Zudem stellt das „Capital Asset Pricing Model“ das Kernstück der neoklassischen Kapitalmarkttheorie dar, in dem nutzenmaximierende Investoren unterstellt werden. Durch die empirische Überprüfung des Kapitalmarktmodells wurden jedoch Abweichungen entdeckt, welche die neoklassische Kapitalmarkttheorie nicht erklären konnte. Diese Abweichungen, die auch als „Anomalien“ bezeichnet werden, deuten darauf hin, dass das Verhalten der Akteure nicht streng rational ist und auf andere Faktoren zurückzuführen ist. Aufgrund der Vielzahl von Abweichungen entwickelte sich schließlich in den 90er Jahren die Forschungsrichtung „Behavioral Finance“, die seitdem das Handeln von Akteuren aus einer verhaltens wissenschaftlichen Perspektive betrachtet. Darüber hinaus existiert mit dem sogenannten Noise Trading-Ansatz die Möglichkeit, das Verhalten von Akteuren, die auf dem Finanzmarkt agieren, nicht nur aus einer psychologischen Perspektive zu beleuchten, sondern die sozialen Aspekte zu berücksichtigen, da sich die Akteure gegenseitig beeinflussen und auch keine homogene Anlegerschaft darstellen.

Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Verhalten von Akteuren, die auf dem Finanzmarkt agieren. Dabei stellt die Untersuchung der Handlungen und Verhaltensweisen von Händlern, die als eine Gemeinschaft in Handelsräumen von Investment Banken tätig sind, den Schwerpunkt dar. Diese Handlungen und Verhaltensweisen der Händler in einer Gemeinschaft sollen explizit beleuchtet werden, wobei das Konzept der „Communities of Practice“ den Rahmen dafür bildet, um daneben die Entwicklungsphasen eines Händlers innerhalb einer solchen Trading Community erläutern zu können. Dabei soll der Handelsraum als ein sozialer Raum betrachtet werden. Des Weiteren soll die Bedeutung der freundschaftlichen Geschäftsbeziehungen der Händler aufgezeigt werden.
